In Search of the Bird of Paradise
Museum.BL
Location: |
Zeughausplatz 28, Switzerland |
About the exhibition:
The special exhibition at Museum.BL in Liestal, Switzerland, shows how past naturalists and collectors have hunted and taxidermied birds from around the world.
In addition, the show portrays nine different people who are nowadays involved with their work and life in the avian world.
It was a great pleasure to participate in the interview series as a bird painter, because in addition to the taxidermied and live birds, the exhibition at Museum.BL focuses primarily on the fascination for birds and the joy of observing them.
