Bird fair in Northern Germany

Organized by the nature conservation association “NABU Hamburg”, the big birding festival of northern Germany “Hanse Bird” has opened the doors from 18th – 19th June 2016.
For me it was the first time taking part as artist at the ornithological fair. I was very happy to show my works to the interested public and to get in contact with the experts. Especially the wonderful time together with my fellow artists from Kiel; Christopher Schmidt und Lisa Pannek was much appreciated.
About 2.000 birders and nature lovers used the chance to visit the Hanse Bird at the weekend. Since its beginnings in 2010 HanseBird aims for people to get involved with nature and raise awareness for its protection. The birding festival brings together birdwatchers, photographers, travelers and nature-loving people who share the passion of being outdoors, observing wildlife and take care of their environment.
