I was lucky to observe the Canadian Lynx during a trip to the Rocky Mountain wilderness of North America. I'm amazed by the intense eyes of this wild cat combined with the thick fur and the oversized paws. From its rocky observing-point the animal was lurking well hidden in the vegetation. Herbs, mosses and lichen gave some interesting patterns to the composition in a kind of artistic touch.
