Mute swans can be encountered in big numbers on the lakes and water channels in our area. Their large size and plumage in crème and snow-white hues makes a contrasting subject in every given scene on the water. I love the color harmony reflecting the warm evening sun in the bird’s plumage and it inspired me to do this small acrylic study.
