Cinnamon

With the memory of Kenya's colors, smell and light fresh in mind this was the first painting I've finished after my trip to East Africa. How could it be other than a bird which gave me the inspiration to pick up the paint brush again. I tried to capture that feeling of warm light and vivid colors so closely related to that magical place on earth. This cinnamon-chested bee eater was the perfect motive to combine all my feelings and joy related to the time I've spend at the Ol Pejeta conservancy land.
